This is what we had for breakfast this morning:
Baked chocolate donut balls.
Here’s the recipe, because you’re going to want to make some and, more importantly, EAT some.
Unless you’re some kind of
freak person who doesn’t like chocolate. Then I pity you. Just kidding. Sort of.
(No offense–but really, chocolate is God’s gift to people, meant to be enjoyed to the fullness.)
Okay, moving on now to the recipe!
BAKED CHOCOLATE DONUT BALLS
1/3 cup oil (I used coconut)
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk (I used dark chocolate almond milk)
Mix batter ingredients together until smooth. Grease a mini muffin pan and fill 1/2 full with batter. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Optional: glaze donut balls with about a cup of powdered sugar and half tablespoon of water–more or less. More is more and better in this case 🙂
Yes, chocolate donut balls complete with dark chocolate almond milk.
Because chocolate is the breakfast of champions.
Move over, Tony the Tiger.
Or wait, that wouldn’t be Tony.
Move over, Wheaties.
Chocolate’s got ya beat!
